So after almost one year I'm finally back with another blogpost...

I don't need to find any excuses because I didn't even have any real followers or anything but I actually have to apologize to myself because I really wanted to do this and I don't know what stopped me. Lack of motivation, I guess... 

But hey I'm back!! And I will post regularly now. Seriously. :) I mean if I can't even motivate myself on the internet how am I supposed to motivate myself in real life?!

Obviously over this period of silence a lot has changed. If there's one thing I've learned in life so far, it is that everything changes incredibly fast. It goes on, if you want it or not. People have entered and left my life this year, there have been happy but also very sad days. But deep inside I'm still the same person who I've always been who simply thinks too much about everything. (Which doesn't necessarily have to be bad, you know? :D) 
So maybe I should tell you something about me again since a lot has changed. Soo..

• My name is Franca, I'm 17, I live in west London but I'm actually from Germany (Munich and Hamburg).
• I need to have chocolate within reach or I get really grumpy, haha.
• I prefer the creative to the natural sciences.
• Acting is my life and it is the only thing I can imagine me doing as a job.
• I love Taylor Swift (Her new album is just... out of this world).
• I'm a profound thinker.
• I hate pretending more than anything.

So yeah that's me! :P Oh and btw it's the first day of school after two weeks of holidays today and that's why I really felt like escaping into the internet world!

I really don't want to write hundreds of blogposts complaining about life but I also don't want to pretend anything so we will see how this one turns out. :D

christmas and my secret cookie recipe

Hey guys!! 

Oh wow it took me now 7 weeks to finally write another blogpost…

I had to do quite a lot for school and I just couldn’t find the time to sit down and write something.

But now I’m having Christmas holidays and lots of time, so yeah…

I can’t believe that there are only 4 days left to Christmas. It feels like December just faded away.

This will be my first Christmas in the UK and I am really excited for it. It’s amazing how much everything changes during the festive season. I’ve been in the centre of London a couple of times recently to do Christmas shopping and …wow! My favorite street is Regent Street and I love walking down it with all the Christmas-lights and the music and the christmassy smell ….

I’m also looking forward to the time after Christmas and New Year’s Eve!

Wow... another year is nearly completed. I have to say it wasn’t the easiest. I’ve moved to London this summer and I often felt confused and unsure about life. However, Christmas is the time to be happy, isn’t it? 

So... As you’ve probably noticed from the title, I’m going to share a little Christmas cookie recipe with you in this post! Yesterday I felt like baking something and this is what turned out. I totally created this myself and I’m really surprised by the taste of these cookies!! If you are a chocolate-lover like me and if you’d like to bake something delicious for Christmas than you should definitely try and make them. I promise you: they taste amazing!!

So here is what you need (for about 25 cookies):

• 2 egg whites
• 150g icing sugar
• 150g ground almonds
• 1 small pot of clotted cream (only if you want the cookies to be chewy)
• 1 bar of dark chocolate
• 0,5 bar of milk chocolate

1. Beat the egg whites until stiff
2. Grate the chocolate
3. Mix the ingredients together   
4. Put small heaps of dough on an oiled baking paper
5. Put it into the oven for 20 minutes at 150

…and that’s it! Enjoy! :)

My first post EVER

Hi there!!  This is my first blogpost ever and to be honest I don't really know what to write about... First of all I think I should tell you something about myself:My name is Franca, I'm 16 years old and I am in 10th grade. I am originally from Germany but this summer we moved to London. Since about 3 years I am obsessed with Blogs and YouTube. Everyday when I'm coming home from school I'm excited to look if someone has uploaded a new video. My favorite youtubers are probably FleurDeForce and Zoella and I love getting inspiration from them. So since I started getting into the big internet community I dreamed of becoming a successful youtuber myself. However, I also know how difficult it is to get noticed by people on the internet. I still don't know if someone will ever read this blogpost but I hope it so much. I'm planning to make a YouTube channel after I know people are reading my blog post and want to see videos of me, too. :) I created this blog today to share my thoughts on things with you and to get to know people with the same interests as me. I love all things beauty and fashion related but I'd also like to write about other things that bother me or I just think are worth writing about.
